You do not have to install the Password Policy Client to use PPE, but the <a href="Similarity_Rule.html">Similarity rule</a> is only enforced if the PPC is installed. </p> <a name="wp9000716"> </a><p class="pBody"> The PPC helps users to choose a compliant password by explaining the password policy to them, and by explaining why their password was rejected.
